Zhang Qingjie

It is clear from the development trend that Bi2Te3-based thin films and heterojunctions will play a more important role in flexible thermoelectric power generation devices using human body heat and their applications in low-power electronic devices.

Professor of Wuhan University of Technology, he has been the president of Wuhan University of Technology, the chief scientist of the national 973 program project "High-efficiency Thermoelectric Materials and Devices", and the leader of the expert group of several projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Zhang Wenwu

Senior Researcher, Assistant Director of Advanced Manufacturing Institute, Ningbo Institute of Engineering Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 1992 B.S., Department of Precision Machinery and Precision Instruments, University of Science and Technology of China; 1995 M.S., Department of Precision Engineering, 13th Institute of the Ministry of Aerospace; 2002 Ph.D., Department of Mechanical Engineering, Columbia University. Tang Xinfeng

He is currently the chief professor of materials discipline at Wuhan University of Technology, the president of the Chinese Thermoelectric Society, a fellow of the American Physical Society, a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the chief scientist of the Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. From May 2005 to May 2018, he was the executive deputy director and director of the Institute of New Materials of Wuhan University of Technology. 2014-2017, he was the director of the International Society of Thermoelectrics.

Zhao Huai Zhou

He has long been engaged in the research of thermoelectric materials, new mechanisms of thermoelectric transport, thermoelectric devices and application systems. He has accumulated rich experience and achieved important innovative results in the research of new high-performance near-room temperature thermoelectric materials, thermoelectric devices and thermoelectric application systems, and has formed distinctive international features in the research of next-generation thermoelectric cooling modules based on new magnesium-based materials. He has published more than 70 first or corresponding papers in Joule, Nat. In October 2020, he hosted the 12th China Thermoelectric Materials Conference and served as the chairman of the conference.

Ren Baoguo

In 1989, he graduated from Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in semiconductor physics and devices. Since 1989, he has been engaged in the research of temperature difference electricity technology for a long time, undertaking many major national defense projects and achieving many technical achievements, winning two national second-class awards, one third-class award, one provincial first-class award and two second-class awards.

Peng Shaojin

In 1963, he graduated from the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics of South China University of Technology with a major in semiconductor materials and devices, and in the same year he was assigned to work in the semiconductor cooling group (formerly group 7), mainly developing different solders and soldering methods (including flux) for N and P type cooling components, measuring the effects of different solders and different soldering methods (including different fluxes) on the contact resistance of the components, and studying the effects of different operating currents on the temperature difference of the devices. He has participated many times in the research and development and promotion of cooling devices and cooling components of the military, sky-cooling plants, and the standardization meetings of various famous refrigeration parts manufacturers in China, and the full set of technologies for ceramic plate type cooling, etc. He has made excellent contributions to the promotion of semiconductor thermoelectric technology to factories.

Zhang Jianzhong

He graduated from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1968 and is a senior engineer at the 18th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (Tianjin Power Research Institute). He is a member of the International Academy of Thermoelectric Sciences and Vice Chairman of the International Academy of Thermoelectric Sciences. He has long been engaged in the development and research of thermoelectric power generation and thermoelectric cooling technology, presided over the completion of a number of military electronic components development projects, and was the main researcher of the National 973 Project "Research on High Performance Thermoelectric Materials and Cascade Thermoelectric Cells" and the National 863 Project "Development and Practicalization of High Efficiency Thermoelectric Conversion Materials and Devices". He is the main researcher of the national 973 project "research on high performance temperature difference electric materials and cascade temperature difference battery" and the national 863 project "development and practical research on high efficiency thermoelectric conversion materials and devices".

Zhao Xinbing

He received his Bachelor's degree in Metallic Materials Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1982, his Master's degree in 1985, and his PhD in 1990. He was the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Materials Science and Engineering, a member of the Steering Committee of Metallic Materials and Metallurgy of the Ministry of Education, a member of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the director of the Thermoelectric Materials and Applications Branch of the Chinese Society for Materials Research, and the director of the International Society for Thermoelectrics. Now he is the director of Chinese Society for Materials Research and the honorary director of Chinese Society for Materials Research Thermoelectric Materials and Applications Branch.
